The Blue Ridge District is located in the foothills and mountains of Western North Carolina comprising 138 churches in nine counties. Stretching from the state line of Tennessee to South Carolina the United Methodist Church has been in the hills of North Carolina since Francis Asbury preached in the area during the earliest days of the Methodist movement.
While the district is really located in 138 church communities across the mountains the office is located behind Trinity United Methodist Church on Haywood Street in West Asheville. The district is blessed to be housed on the second floor of one of Trinity’s buildings with access to parking off Balm Grove Avenue. (The address is 27 Balm Grove Avenue.)
